Chair Yoga with TLC!

Everyone needs a little TLC every now and then!  Whether you're combating stiff muscles and joints, working on stability and balance, dealing with chronic pain and fatigue, or wanting to begin a new yoga program after an injury or a long period of inactivity, it's nice to experience a gentle and supportive program that will honor your body and mind in its present state. 


What is Chair Yoga?

Chair Yoga is one of the most gentle forms of yoga.  You will learn simple yoga postures, calming breathwork, and a variety of meditation/relaxation techniques.  All postures are done seated in a chair, lying on the floor, and/or standing with chair support.  All movement is mindful--we move in ways that feel good and nurturing to the body!

Chair Yoga Class Offerings!

Private Chair Yoga Series 

  • What:  A series of chair yoga classes designed just for you, based on your strengths, needs and personal goals.  Also, learn postures and breathwork that you can do on your own to increase the benefits you get from your private classes. 
  • Who:  Private Chair Yoga classes are perfect for individuals who:
    • Feel uncomfortable practicing in a large group
    • Want to feel confident in their alignment
    • Have specific health concerns they would like to address
    • Need specialized instruction and pacing
  • Where:  A clean room in your home or office that is distraction-free and large enough for the two of us to practice

  • Details:

Buddy Chair Yoga Series
  • What:  A series of chair yoga classes designed just for you and a friend, husband, wife, sister, brother, significant other, mother, father, or whoever else might motivate you to sign up for class and do something good for yourself!
  • Who:  Buddy Chair Yoga classes are perfect for individuals who:
    • Want to share good health spend quality time with a friend 
    • Need a buddy to help them with follow through on non-class days 
    • Feel uncomfortable practicing in a large group
    • Want to feel confident in their alignment
    • Have specific health concerns they would like to address
    • Need specialized instruction and pacing
  • Where:  A clean room in your home or office that is distraction-free and large enough for the three of us to practice

Pricing and Business Terms:  Prices are per person, per series of lessons.  Pay at first lesson by cash or check only.  At least 24 hours notice of cancellation is required should you need to cancel class.
